17. Present at AFA (Annual Meeting of the Association of Fraternity and Sorority Advisors)
You know how sometimes all you can do is try? Well, I tried. I put together a rockstar team of professionals, including Jamie Linn, Mary Larkin, and Michael Maksymowski. We put together a proposal for the Annual meeting, which I'll be attending from December 2nd - 5th, 2014 in Nashville, TN. Our proposal was for a program or panel that presented on the topic of how EMU has worked as an institution to be inclusive to the transgender population who may be interested in joining a Greek organization. This proposal was not accepted, which is not big deal, but will keep me from presenting at this particular meeting this year. I'll try again next year, and in the meantime, channel these thoughts into possibly publishing an article for one of the publications instead!
